Why are your online rates the same as your in-home rates?
Throughout the pandemic, I worked on developing my own high-quality educational material that helped my students progress at the same rate as they were able to in-person. My students who sat for Conservatory Canada exams during the pandemic prepared for them through virtual lessons, all receiving Honours with Distinction (the highest grade recognized). I offer the same quality of education online as in-person and am happy to provide both options based on your preferences.
How do you calculate your rates?
I base my rates off the competitive market rates of piano lessons offered by bigger schools around Calgary, then reduce this by about 5%.
